Are we going soft in the conservative movement? Have evangelicals gone liberal? The good news is that the evangelical voter is still holding strongly to a pro-life position; the bad news is that they are shifting leftward on economic issues. Too many people are starting to believe that it is the government's job to take care of the poor. Government programs perpetuate poverty by creating a dependence, and inequality is growing in our society.
